This is an invitation to submit a proposal for a paper focused on Ukraine, to be part of the RILM session “Bibliography as a Tool of Cultural Preservation” at the 2022 IAML Congress in Prague (24–29 July 2022).

RILM welcomes proposals on subjects related to the following topics:

• Coverage of Ukraine-related topics in music periodicals, such as Советская музыка/Музыкальная академия, during and after the Soviet era
• Preservation of music resources and collections in Ukraine during times of change and crisis 
• Ukrainian music bibliography, cataloging and classification, digital resources in an international context

Please submit a proposal by email, with title and an abstract of no more than 250 words, and include contact information (address, phone, and email) before Monday, 25 April 2022. Attn: Jadranka Važanová at jvazanova@rilm.org. 

Notifications regarding the proposals will be sent by the first week of May.

Deputy Executive Director Tina Frühauf will participate in the 9th annual meeting of the European Platform for Artistic Research in Music (EPARM), held at the Royal Academy of Music in London, UK, from 7 to 9 April 2022. The theme of this year’s meeting is “The artistry of artistic research”. On Thursday, 7 April 2022, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm GMT, Dr. Frühauf will give a pre-conference workshop on “RILM as a platform for artistic research” in the Henry Wood Room. Dr. Frühauf will be available throughout the conference to meet with attendees to discuss how AEC’s mission intersects with RILM’s resources, which offer a wealth of information relevant to artistic researchers.
