RILM’s Editor-in-Chief Barbara Dobbs Mackenzie will be at the 45th annual conference of the Society for American Music in New Orleans, Louisiana. She will be a panelist at the Research Resources Interest Group’s session “Music Research Resources in the Digital Age”, which takes place on Thursday, 21 March 2019, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Royal Salon. Dr. Mackenzie will speak about the reference works RILM Music Encyclopedias and MGG Online, what they represent for researchers in the 21st century and how they inform the study of American music. Dr. Mackenzie will be available to meet with conference participants to engage in discussions about RILM’s resources, which make music scholarship on American music accessible in multiple ways.
