Austin Shadduck oversees the acquisition and material handling of licensed journals for RILM Abstracts of Music Literature with Full Text. He also provides technical support for MGG Online, among other RILM projects.

A PhD candidate in music composition at the CUNY Graduate Center, Shadduck’s research focuses on shakuhachi history in the United States. He holds a MA in composition from Queens College, CUNY, and a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Rochester. He plays shakuhachi, saxophone, and directs a handbell choir in Upstate New York.
