Rebecca is an assistant editor at RILM who accesses materials in French, Italian, Romanian, and English, and writes abstracts for French and Italian materials. From August 2013 to August 2015 she also served as Subscriptions Manager. Rebecca graduated from New York University in 2012 with a degree in Music and Romance Languages, and is now a doctoral student in ethnomusicology at Stony Brook University researching gendered sonic violence. Her work has appeared in TEMPO, Sounding Out!, Music & Literature, The Log Journal, VAN Magazine, and I Care If You Listen. When not RILMing, writing, or researching, Rebecca enjoys swimming, reading Southern literature, and volunteering as a gender equality activist.
