Lindsey Eckenroth is a doctoral candidate in musicology at the CUNY Graduate Center, and she holds a BMus in flute performance from New York University as well as a MA in musicology from Brooklyn College. Her areas of specialization include popular music and film studies, which she is currently approaching through the lens of rockumentaries. Her work has been published in Rock Music Studies, American Music Review, and Women & Music.

As Data Coordinator at RILM, Lindsey facilitates database import and export processes for RILM Abstracts and RILM Abstracts with Full Text. Outside of RILM, she teaches at Brooklyn College and works as a Graduate Assistant at the Hitchcock Institute for Studies in American Music. She is also an active flutist, performing in and around NYC as a member of The Curiosity Cabinet, an interdisciplinary new music ensemble.
