Jim Roynan is RILM’s Technology Coordinator and leads its software development and technology. Among his diverse responsibilities, he oversees the delivery of technology product development efforts for RILM’s vast bibliographies of scholarly writings on music and its full-text products, working with RILM’s editorial and technology teams to define and deliver new products.Prior to joining RILM, Jim was the Vice President of Information Technology for Jobson Healthcare Information. His responsibilities included overseeing the software development, network support, help desk, and Internet marketing activities for Jobson’s digital content and marketing communications products. Jim and his team designed, developed, and delivered systems for pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare companies in support of promotional program management, continuing education, competitive surveillance, conference and meeting planning, and mobile applications. Jim has also held positions as Vice President of Publishing Operations Strategies for Really Strategies, Inc; Senior Vice President & CIO at The MIIX Group, a publicly traded specialty insurer; Executive Vice President & CTO at Xyan, a digital publishing company; and Vice President, Technology Solutions at RTIS, a division of Lexis-Nexis. Jim earned a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Information Systems from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with dual majors in Marketing and Computer & Information Sciences from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.
